Rambagh Palace

Le Contexte :

Music Curator a envisagé la conception sonore des cinq lieux publics à partir du rôle que joue l'hôtel dans la ville de Jaipur dans le contexte de sa lignée Taj Group.

La Musique :

Dans le surplombant and marble verandah, looking out to the garden, we created a soundtrack of shimmering lightness, inspired by the pastel colours of the walls and the dance of the garden’s butterflies.

Dans le Suvarna Mahal, a grand and palatial venue of Royal Gastronomy, we have meticulously recreated a musical atmosphere reminiscent of the royal courts of a bygone era—an ambience that complements the regal setting and elevates every dining experience into a timeless celebration.

Dans le salle Rajput, decorated as a tribute to the Maharani Gayatri Devi, we created a unique masterpiece of prestigious orchestral strings to accompany dignified Indian classical music.

Le bande-son du Polo Bar soundtrack evokes a quaint Belle Epoque charm at night, reminiscent of a fantasised aristocratic socialite life. It was the natural recipient of the graceful and romantic musical selections of the numerous Indophile and Indian jazz musicians, such as the late Amancio D’Silva, whom the Princess patronised. She bought him his first professional guitar, a Gibson. As a tribute to the artist and his patron, the bande-son du Polo Bar est le seul endroit au monde où les œuvres d'Amancio sont jouées quotidiennement.

On the outskirts of the Palace, a colonial train station has been transformed into The Steam Bar, whose entertaining soundtrack of Jazz and Soul music with a contemporary retro touch offers locals and guests the genuine edge of an urban bar.
